The company PETROLEUM BROKERS LIMITED was incorporated 2003 as a corporate entity, though the Company started business in November 2002 as an Oil & Gas trading /product servicing Company.Since inception, the Company has experienced positive growth and expansion with regards to assets,customer base and size.

Vision

To provide Petroleum products wherever and whenever needed at competitive prices to the several end users and production companies in Nigeria and the West Africa sub region.

Where it all started

Trader margins had been diminished due to competition brought about by the partial de-regulation in the Nigerian Oil sector.Commissions collected by the broker in the past were not realistic considering the thin margins that trading transactions commanded.Ignorance of trading in petroleum products,lead in most cases to losses of financial and in some cases,human resources.
The primary promoter of the Company-PETROLEUM BROKERS LIMITED (PBL) identified this vacuum in the market while trading for SAHARA ENERGY RESOURCE LIMITED (SERL).Therefore,the Company was set up primarily to provide trading brokerage services.Fees were charged to both buyer and seller of the commodity in question.The advantage to the client was simply that there were no hidden costs shared equally between the buyer and seller.Furthermore,PBL took over the transaction with regards to finance negotiations with the client's banks,insurance and freight organisations.This in turn,left the client free to work on other transactions,amongst other things,with PBL updating the client on a continous basis.
